Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration Holds Legal Training Focuses on Macao Legal System

The fourth arbitrator training session of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (also known as the South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Arbitration Center, abbreviated as SCIA) in 2024 was held at the SCIA Tower in Qianhai, Shenzhen. The theme of this training was "Judicial Institutions and Judicial Assistance in Macao", presented by Professor Fang Quan, an SCIA arbitrator and Dean of the Faculty of Law at Macao Science and Technology University.

More than 100 arbitrators and lawyers from Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macao, and other places participated in the training, engaging in in-depth exchanges and lively discussions around the judicial system and legal practice of the Macao SAR.

SCIA President Dr. Liu Xiaochun presided over the training and exchange.

SCIA Arbitrator and Dean of the Faculty of Law at Macao Science and Technology University, Professor Fang Quan, delivered a keynote speech.
