Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration Holds "Arbitration Rules Roadshow" in South Africa

From April 8th to 9th, 2024, a delegation from the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) conducted an arbitration rules roadshow in Johannesburg, South Africa, sharing the latest developments and innovative rules in international arbitration in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone with SCIA arbitrators from South Africa. This initiative aims to promote the resolution of China-Africa commercial disputes through international arbitration and jointly advance the high-quality development of China-Africa economic and trade cooperation. Shao Jinli, Deputy Director of Case Management Department at SCIA, presented appointment letters to SCIA arbitrators based in South African, Michael Kuper SC, Patrick Lane SC, and Malcolm Wallis.

During this period, the SCIA delegation also visited institutions such as the Southern Africa Arbitration Foundation (AFSA), ENSafrica Law Firm, Huawei's Johannesburg Campus in South Africa, and ZTE's South African subsidiary.
