    Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration Delegation Attends the 2024 Johannesburg Arbitration Week

    From April 9th to 11th, 2024, the first Johannesburg Arbitration Week (JAW), hosted by the Southern Africa Arbitration Foundation (AFSA) and co-organized by several international dispute resolution institutions including the China-Africa Joint Arbitration Center (CAJAC), took place in Johannesburg, South Africa. This Johannesburg Arbitration Week focused on themes such as the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA), the development of arbitration in Africa, investment protection in the Southern African Development Community, the enforcement of arbitral awards in Africa, and Chinese business investment in South Africa, etc., attracting over 400 representatives from the legal, business, academic, and government sectors from Africa and other countries. Shao Jinli, Deputy Director of Case Management Department at SCIA, led a team representing the China-Africa Joint Arbitration Center Shenzhen in participating in the series of events.
