    Seminar on Jurisdictional Complexities and Enforcement of Arbitral Awards in International Arbitration is Held at the SCIA Tower in Qianhai


    On 12 June 2024, the seminar on Jurisdiction Complexities and Enforcement of Arbitral Awards in International Arbitration was held at the SCIA Tower in Qianhai, Shenzhen, which was jointly organized by Holman Fenwick Willian LLP (HFW) and Rede Chambers, specially supported by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA).

    Themed on “Breaking Down Boundaries: Unlocking Jurisdictional Complexities and Deciphering Enforcement Dilemmas in International Arbitration”, the Seminar was opened by Huang Guoyong, Director of International Cooperation and Development Department of the SCIA, who invited senior practitioners from HFW and Rede Chambers, as well as representatives from the academia to share their insights on how to resolve jurisdictional and enforcement issues in international arbitration. More than 100 arbitrators, in-house legal counsels, lawyers and academics from both domestic and overseas participated in the seminar through online and offline means.

    The seminar is one of the series of the SCIA International Arbitration Observatory, which is a permanent sub-forum of the South China Law & Business Forum.
